To avoid theft, it is essential to attach your scooter to a fixed and solid point, preferably on a place of passage, so that an attempted theft is quickly spotted and reported.
On the public road:
Prefer cast iron posts or thick metal protective barriers
Your padlock or lock must not touch the ground:
Avoid placing your padlock or anti-theft device on the ground. In contact with the ground, this allows the thief to have a point of support in the event of an attempt to destroy the padlock or anti-theft device. (Let's avoid making it easy for them;)
The optimal solution is to store your scooter at home or at your workplace, to avoid all risks.
