The electric scooter makes its debut.
It is in the next few days that electric scooters will make a remarkable entrance on the streets of Montreal. Whether one is for or against, nothing will prevent this mode of transport from finding a place as a means of travel as much for covering the last km of an urban transport system as for simple tourist travel.
Strict rules
Montreal imposes one of the toughest regulations in the world.
Users of electric scooters must wear a helmet, be 18 years or older and hold a license to drive a moped.
Scooters will not be able to travel at more than 20 km/h and will be prohibited on sidewalks as well as on roads where the speed limit exceeds 50 km/h.
Riders will be required to photograph their scooter in the app at the end of their use to ensure it is parked in an authorized location.
They will also have to follow a short training when activating the mobile application.
In my opinion, these are excellent rules.
Will Footbike offer this type of scooter? THE answer is YES .
What will be the way to do it? This will be a big surprise !!!!!
