In Cani-Trottinette safety goes through a line attached directly to the bike. The pull-up bar is a clever mix of flexibility, rigidity and safety.
The bar itself is rigid, but it allows you to twist in ALL DIRECTIONS.
I finally find that the important thing is not so much the rigidity of the bar as the fact of properly attaching its line to the stem of the bike (very important). The bar keeps the line above your front wheel in all conditions.
If the bar were to give way for any reason, your dog will remain attached to the bike.
A flexible bar allows for a 180° bending radius, to accompany the movement of the dog and to give the scooter rider some leeway.
